Image and source credits

Every diagram on this site was drawn for the page it sits on. Every social card is generated from that page’s own headline. Every statistic links to a primary source. This page says where each of those comes from.

Diagrams

All diagrams are original, drawn for the page they appear on, and every claim inside one is taken from the page around it. Each is a standalone SVG file you may reproduce with attribution and a link back to the source page.

Social cards

The preview image on every page is generated from that page’s own heading, in the site’s palette. Nothing is licensed and nothing is a photograph, which means the card never promises something the page does not contain. Regenerating a card produces a new file, so they are cached for a year.

Photography

Two photographs appear on the homepage, both illustrative. No client is pictured anywhere on this site, and the case studies are anonymised for the same reason. The portrait beside each field note is Atharv Sankpal, who writes them.

Typography

Headings and long-form body text are set in Cormorant Garamond; interface text, labels and navigation in Syne. Both are open-source families served from Google Fonts, loaded so they never block the page from rendering.

Sources

Sources are linked at the foot of each page rather than collected here, so a claim and its evidence stay next to each other. Practitioner reports are labelled as such rather than presented as research, and the method behind every page is set out in the editorial standards.

Where something published here turned out to be wrong, it is logged in the corrections record, along with the industry claims we decline to repeat.

Reuse

The diagrams may be reproduced with attribution to Credible Roots and a link to the page they came from. For anything else, ask — the answer is usually yes.
